Welcome to Eastern Tides Acupuncture

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are a time tested, holistic approach to obtaining whole-body wellness, addressing your health concerns, and preventing disease. Your practitioner will take a detailed health history, perform a physical exam, and discuss the relationship between lifestyle, nutrition, and exercise, and your overall health. Eating well, staying active, cultivating emotional well being, and getting proper sleep, are key factors in preventing disease, and addressing the imbalances that create disease.

A thorough inspection of the tongue and pulse are diagnostic tools that are unique to Traditional Chine Medicine. With this information, your practitioner will provide you with detailed diagnosis and treatment plan. Furthermore, your practitioner will discuss the types of treatments and therapies you will receive, the underlying causes of the imbalances, and a time line of care.

The initial consultation and acupuncture treatment can take as long as 90 minutes. Follow up treatments can take between 30-60 minutes. Be sure to discuss any questions or concerns you may have with your practitioner.
